Rebecca & Conrad’s Wedding at Shrigley Hall, Cheshire

Being a Shrigley Hall wedding photographer is a privilege I never take for granted — and Conrad and Rebecca’s wedding was the perfect reminder of just how extraordinary this Cheshire wedding venue truly is.

Set within 262 acres of rolling Cheshire countryside, Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa offers a breath taking backdrop at every turn. From the grandeur of the Georgian staircase and the elegance of its light-filled rooms, to the sweeping views across the golf course and beyond, it’s a venue that feels both cinematic and timeless. The bridal suite balcony alone is a dream for wedding portraits, overlooking a landscape that feels endlessly romantic and beautifully serene.

Rebecca’s morning began in one of Shrigley’s stunning preparation rooms, filled with light, laughter, and an infectious sense of excitement. She and her bridesmaids were an absolute joy — relaxed, radiant, and ready to celebrate.

The ceremony took place at St Alban’s RC Church in Macclesfield — a beautiful setting for such an emotional moment. Rebecca’s smile as she walked up the aisle was unforgettable; full of joy, love, and quiet anticipation. It was one of those ceremonies where everything felt sincere and deeply felt, and every frame carried its own weight.

After the ceremony, we returned to Shrigley Hall for group photographs, couple portraits, and relaxed moments during the drinks reception and speeches. As the light softened in the evening, we stepped outside once more for a short portrait session — unhurried, cinematic, and completely natural. The cake cutting and first dance followed, bringing the day to a gentle and joyful close.

Conrad and Rebecca brought such warmth and generosity to their wedding. The day was emotional, elegant, and full of life — the kind of celebration that stays with you long after it ends.

It was a genuine pleasure to photograph their day.
