I work with a calm, unobtrusive presence — observing more than directing, allowing moments to unfold naturally while responding intuitively to light, movement and emotion. When guidance is needed, particularly during portraits, it is subtle and purposeful.
With over fifteen years of experience, I know how to move through a wedding, adapt when plans shift, and anticipate moments you may not even see happening. The result is a complete visual story — honest, emotional and refined.

Do you travel for weddings outside Cheshire?
Yes — I photograph weddings across the UK and Europe. Travel is included within reasonable distance of Cheshire; longer journeys and destination weddings are discussed at enquiry.
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
A deliberately limited number — this keeps every wedding approached with full care and creative attention. I'd rather give ten couples exceptional work than twenty couples average work.
How long until we receive our photographs?
A preview gallery is delivered within 48 hours. The full edited collection typically follows within 6–8 weeks, with care taken to ensure every image reflects the Amaris Lux standard.
Will you be the photographer on the day?
Always. I am the lead photographer at every wedding — there is no subcontracting, no associates, no surprises. When you enquire with Amaris Lux, you work with Paul.
What if our date isn't available?
I'll tell you honestly. If I can't accommodate your date, I'll let you know straightaway — I'd always rather be upfront than keep you waiting on an uncertain answer.
