The grandeur of The Midland is unmistakable. From its sweeping staircases to the intricate architectural details, the space carries a quiet confidence — elegant, layered, and full of character.
Throughout the day, the hotel offers a natural rhythm: light-filled moments around St Peter’s Square, intimate interiors that lend themselves to quiet observation, and a seamless flow from ceremony to celebration. It’s a setting that allows a wedding to unfold without interruption, with space for both candid moments and considered portraits.
As evening arrives, the atmosphere shifts. The formalities fall away, the dance floor fills, and the energy becomes effortless — laughter, movement, and celebration captured as it happens.
Hannah & Fergus’ Wedding at The Midland Hotel, Manchester
“Fantastic Photographer, such a great day
We originally booked Paul for July 2020 but had to postpone to July 2021 due to the pandemic. We had a call with Paul two weeks before the wedding, where he gave us some really helpful advice and tips for the day.
On the day, Paul was punctual, professional, and gave us a great service. He worked incredibly hard — I don’t think I saw him sit down once during the whole ten hours! He captured some brilliant shots outside the church, in the stairwell at The Midland, and across St Peter’s Square, and all the group photos turned out really well too.
Paul was friendly with all our guests and communicated clearly when organising group shots. We’re really happy with the quality of our photos and would definitely recommend him.
