Hollie & Andrew’s Wedding at Alderley Edge Marquee.

Hollie and Andrew’s wedding in the Cheshire countryside was relaxed, considered and quietly expressive. Set across a traditional church ceremony and a private marquee reception, the day felt personal without being over-styled — shaped by people rather than trends.

I first met Jonathan through his work at Harris & Howard Bespoke Tailors in Alderley Edge, and later met both him and Hollie at their home in Didsbury. They were immediately open, grounded and easy to spend time with — which set the tone for a wedding that felt natural and unforced.

The ceremony took place at St Oswald’s Church in Lower Peover before moving to a marquee in a friend’s garden for the reception. The flexibility of the space allowed the day to be tailored exactly to them, from the layout to the pace of the celebrations.

One simple but thoughtful detail was a wooden bridge built by Hollie’s father for the day, which became a quiet focal point for photographs.

A wedding defined less by spectacle and more by atmosphere — calm, personal and genuinely enjoyable to document.
